Men’s Discussion Group – Sun 9th March 4pm – 6pm. Stereo, Renfield Lane, Glasgow

In collaboration with the amazing Glasgow Feminist Network, the White Ribbon Campaign in Glasgow has organised a Men’s Discussion Group on Sun 9th March 4pm – 6pm in Stereo, Renfield Lane, Glasgow.

Men’s Discussion Group: What can men do to help in stopping men’s violence against women?
Sun 9th March 4pm – 6pm. Stereo, Renfield Lane, Glasgow

This discussion group will be facilitated by me! Interested men are invited to come along, and find out what they can do to get involved in helping to stop violence against women. Female readers: please encourage all the men you know to go along – boyfriends, husbands, fathers, brothers, friends, colleagues… they don’t need to be afraid. It will be a safe environment, about creating positive change, NOT about guilt or blame.

I am very hopeful that a White Ribbon Glasgow group will arise out of this event, and meet on a regular basis like our friends in the Edinburgh group.

There are literally dozens more events across the city and beyond, organised by all kinds of groups for International Women’s Day. The Glasgow Feminist Network have an International Women’s Day Events Calendar, which you can find by checking out their MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/glasgowfeministnetwork
